The exam is crucial to figuring out what is causing the pain/complaint. By assessing movement patterns and looking at the body from head to toe, I am able to determine what mechanics and patterns have lead to the area of concern, and what all is needed to address that area. Years of education and clinical practice has allowed me to effectively take in the information not only from the patient intake forms, but also from conversation, asking the right questions, looking at the way the body moves, and diving deeper. An efficient, effective assessment is key to proper care. An initial assessment is required for all new patients and/or patients that have not been seen by me for 3+ years.

Follow-up Visit

Unsure of what you should book following your initial assessment? Book a follow-up visit with me to provide the treatments you need! Disclaimer: The price will depend on what treatments are rendered during your visit - The $65 estimate will vary as a result. Pricing can be found at indyoh.com.

Chiropractic Manipulation

A chiropractic adjustment/manipulation is a manual release of joint restrictions that are found during the palpation portion of the treatment.

Consultations

If you are not in the area and would like a virtual visit, I am happy to help! We will still need an initial examination as a new patient. From there, I can coach you through dynamic functional rehab that will help get you out of pain.

Re-examination

A re-examination is for a current patient that ha not been seen in 3 or more months, or for a current patient who has a new complaint.

Hi! I am Dr. Jen Sarpa. I am a Doctor of Chiropractic and Licensed Medical Acupuncturist in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have a passion for health, exercise, and improving the well-being of my patients. I take a well-rounded approach to healthcare including dry needling, acupuncture, soft tissue therapy, chiropractic manipulation, and functional rehabilitation. I see all ranges of cases, from a professional athlete, to a businessperson, to an expecting or postpartum mother. My goal is to help patients not only get out of pain, but learn how to stay out of pain. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I began practicing in Indianapolis in 2019, after interning for the football program at the University of Memphis working on Division 1 athletes. Since then, I have further expanded my knowledge and skillset in order to take a modern, evidence-based approach to the treatment I provide. If you ask my parents, my passion for creativity was always what I prioritized. I love to paint, draw, and create. I also loved to study biology, anatomy, and physiotherapy. Combining these interests allows me to create creative solutions for patients with personalized care that I pride myself on providing.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ I truly love the human body and the challenges it presents in regard to figuring out the root cause of pain and dysfunction. The subtle nuances noted during a functional assessment are so intriguing. Attention to detail helps me not only figure out the unique aspects of pain, but also how to diagnose and treat efficiently. ⁣⁣
